As a woman who codes, their comments are especially irksome because “Hello World” apps are the gateway to learning every coding language / framework out there. And that was true even for them. There’s no need for these sexist racist fucks to shit on the same things that taught them to code too in their endeavor to display their sexism and racism. Especially when code wouldn’t exist without women. And yes that includes Black women.
This is why Hidden Figures was so important. And why the erasure or women in technology is so fucking insidious. I hate white men.
